AIRBUS Group (formerly EADS)

Anti-corruption certification awarded to AIRBUS Group (formerly EADS) and its divisions

  ab-g       On 5 February 2013, the ETHIC Intelligence Certification Committee awarded EADS NV (now AIRBUS Group) an Anti-corruption Compliance Program Certificate for the design of its Anti-corruption Compliance Program. Since the attribution of this certificate, the Committee has examined the files presented by SGS covering the implementation of the compliance programs of EADS’ various divisions, resulting in the attribution of Anti-corruption Compliance System certification for CASSIDIAN (now part of AIRBUS DEFENCE and SPACE) on 16 September 2013, ASTRIUM (now part of AIRBUS DEFENCE and SPACE) on 24 June 2013, EUROCOPTER (now AIRBUS HELICOPTERS) on 12 January 2014, AIRBUS (the commercial aircraft division of AIRBUS Group) on 6 February 2014 and AIRBUS MILITARY (now AIRBUS DEFENCE and SPACE) on 10 February 2014.   As a result, AIRBUS Group was awarded an  Anti-corruption Compliance System Certificate (covering both the design and the implementation of the program) on 13 February 2014.  

 

On 12 February 2016, the ETHIC Intelligence Certification Committee Chairman extended the validity of AIRBUS GROUP certificate to 31 December 2016 in light of important structural changes experienced within the Group and its Divisions. The Purpose of the validity extension is to (1) allow Airbus Group additional time to adapt to its new structure prior to a renewal audit and (2) align certification validity periods to the three-year validity typically applied for ISO certification. 

 

 

 

 

Airbus Defence and Space logo

Airbus Defence and Space, one of three divisions of Airbus Group, is composed of former EADS entities ASTRIUM, CASSIDIAN and AIRBUS MILITARY. Each of these entities received Anti-corruption Compliance System Certification between June 2013 and February 2014. Airbus Defence and Space is now composed of these entities and can claim its own Anti-corruption Compliance System Certificate which encompasses Astrium, Cassidian and Airbus Military.

 

The following three certificates were awarded to the former EADS entities now composing Airbus Defence and Space:

On 15 September 2015, the ETHIC Intelligence Certification Committee Chairman extended the validity of AIRBUS DEFENCE AND SPACE certificate to 31 December 2016 in light of important structural changes experienced within the AIRBUS Group and its Divisions. The Purpose of the validity extension is to (1) allow Airbus Group additional time to adapt to its new structure prior to a renewal audit and (2) align certification validity periods to the three-year validity typically applied for ISO certification.

On 13 January 2014, the ETHIC Intelligence Certification Committee awarded AIRBUS HELICOPTERS (formerly EUROCOPTER) an Anti-corruption Compliance System Certificate for the design and implementation of its Compliance Program to prevent corruption.

 

 

On 12 January 2016, the ETHIC Intelligence Certification Committee Chairman extended the validity of AIRBUS HELICOPTERS certificate to 31 December 2016 in light of important structural changes experienced within the Group and its Divisions. The Purpose of the validity extension is to (1) allow Airbus Group additional time to adapt to its new structure prior to a renewal audit and (2) align certification validity periods to the three-year validity typically applied for ISO certification.

On 6 February 2014, the ETHIC Intelligence Certification Committee awarded AIRBUS, the commercial aircraft division of Airbus Group, an Anti-corruption Compliance System Certificate for the design and implementation of its Compliance Program to prevent corruption.

 

 

On 5 February 2016, the ETHIC Intelligence Certification Committee Chairman extended the validity of the AIRBUS certificate to 31 December 2016 in light of important structural changes experienced within the Group and its Divisions. The Purpose of the validity extension is to (1) allow Airbus Group additional time to adapt to its new structure prior to a renewal audit and (2) align certification validity periods to the three-year validity typically applied for ISO certification.
