1. Choice of Certificate and scope of intervention: ETHIC Intelligence helps companies to determine whether their anti-corruption compliance programs are sufficient enough to be certified and, if they are sufficient, to choose the certificate type and scope.
   
   
2. Audit on the quality of corruption-prevention policies: An ETHIC Intelligence-accredited inspection company conducts a thorough, on-site audit on the design and effective implementation of corruption prevention policies. It is important to note here that this audit in no way constitutes an investigation to prove or disprove acts of corruption committed within the company.
   
   
3. Review of Audit results and awarding of certificate: Results from the audit are closely examined by the ETHIC Intelligence Certification Committee, composed of leading experts in the field.
   
   
4. Posting of certificate online: Once awarded, the certificate, its term of validity, a summary of the terms of reference against which the compliance program was assessed and related information is made publicly available online.
   
   
5. Verification by a Committee Member: Every year, a Certification Committee member conducts a random check of 10% of all certification files to ensure the quality of the certification process.
